A picture taken by a friend today of a double rainbow. In the midst of trouble, there is always hope with the Lord. He is the promise.
Here he is...early this morning at the hospital in Orlando...full of smiles. I am in the waiting room right now...waiting for my baby boy to be done with his surgery. It is so hard to be on this side...not knowing what is going on. It's such a control issue with me...I would like to be in there...to make sure that they are taking care of my baby. So we wait...we have one update, and so far so good...perhaps another hour or so. I will give a full update later. I just thought I would post a picture of my boy...he was full of kisses this morning and giggles. Such a trooper. I am blessed to be his mommy!
Haven't done a gratitude Friday in a long time. It is nice to take a moment and realize what God has done in your life. 1. Thankful for Matt's new car. When the enemy tried to turn something good into bad, the Lord's provision overrides. 2. Thankful for all of Judah's curls. 3. Thankful for the good report at the neurosurgeon's office on Monday. We are believing for a easy repair of the malformed artery. 4. Thankful for the rain that just came down...so cleansing. 5. Thankful for His presence and His voice. 6. Thankful for my boy turning five. Oh, who knows what adventures we have before us in the future. I can't wait.

I had picked him up that morning in the Greenville, South Carolina airport and then we headed to a swim meet in the same town for our daughter, Esther. We were there most of the day...stopping at some stores before we headed back to our home in North Carolina. I hadn't talked to my mom in a few days, which was rare. I was super busy and she hadn't called me either. I called her, and she di...
